FAQ – Demure Lashes

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know, from application to aftercare

Our premium lashes are lightweight, customisable, and applied under or on top of the lash line. We offer:

Clusters: Small sections to build your perfect lash look.
Pre-Cuts: Pre-arranged clusters for quicker, easier application.
Individuals: Single lashes for an ultra-natural, bespoke finish.

These give you a seamless, salon-quality look without the bulk of strip lashes.

Our lashes are made from lightweight synthetic fibres designed to create a soft, natural-looking finish. They are vegan and cruelty-free.

Follow our online step-by-step application guide for advice on preparing your natural lashes, applying the Bond & Seal and positioning each lash section safely.

Always read the product instructions and complete a patch test before first use.

No. Demure Bond & Seal is designed for temporary, at-home application and should be used only as directed.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes and waterline. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or if you are sensitive to any of the listed ingredients.

No. Salon cluster lashes are typically applied using a strong, hard-setting adhesive. This can bond multiple natural lashes together, creating clumping and tension that may lead to damage, particularly if they are applied or removed incorrectly.

Demure lashes are completely different. Our flexible Bond & Seal system is designed for temporary, at-home wear, giving you the full, salon-style effect without the rigid adhesive system. They feel lighter, move more naturally with your own lashes and are much easier to apply, adjust and remove correctly.

Yes. Complete a patch test at least 24 hours before first use, following the instructions printed on the Bond & Seal.

Apply a small amount to the recommended test area and leave it undisturbed. If you experience redness, itching, swelling or irritation, remove the product and do not use it around the eyes.

A patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur, so stop using the product immediately if irritation develops during application or wear.

Stop using the product immediately and carefully remove the lashes without pulling.

If the product enters your eye, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If irritation, redness, swelling or discomfort continues, seek medical advice.

Do not reapply the product after a reaction.

Our lashes and Bond & Seal are designed for use around the eye area, but individual sensitivities and reactions can occur.

Complete a patch test before first use and apply the lashes away from the waterline. Stop using the product immediately if you experience discomfort, redness, watering, itching or swelling.

If symptoms continue after removal, seek medical advice.

The lashes can be worn with glasses, although the most suitable lash length will depend on the fit of your frames.

Contact-lens wearers should take extra care during application and removal. Stop using the product if you experience irritation or discomfort, and seek advice from your optician if you are unsure whether the product is suitable for you.

Carefully remove the loose cluster rather than pulling or leaving it partially attached.

Clean away any residue as directed, then reapply the cluster using a small amount of Bond & Seal. Keep adhesive away from the waterline and follow the application instructions.

Avoid getting the lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application.

After that, minimise prolonged exposure to water, steam and oil-based products around the lash line, as these may reduce wear time. Do not rub or pull the lashes when washing or drying your face.

Use a remover that is compatible with the Demure Bond & Seal and follow the remover instructions carefully.

Allow the remover enough time to soften the bond, then gently slide the lash sections away. Never pull or force them from your natural lashes.

If any bond remains, repeat the removal process rather than rubbing or picking at the lash line.

The lashes may be reused if they remain clean, undamaged and in good condition after removal.

Carefully remove any bond residue using the recommended cleaning method and allow the lashes to dry fully before storing them in their original tray. Do not share used lashes with another person.

Discard them if the fibres or lash band become damaged, misshapen or difficult to clean.

Remover, cleanser, oils or old adhesive left on the lash band can prevent the Bond & Seal from adhering properly.

Clean the lashes using the recommended method and allow them to dry completely before attempting to reuse them. Do not reuse lashes that are damaged or cannot be cleaned fully.

Wear time varies depending on application, aftercare, skin type and lifestyle.

For the best results:

• Start with clean, completely dry lashes free from makeup, oils and skincare products.
• Apply only the recommended amount of Bond & Seal.
• Keep the lashes away from water and steam for the first 24 hours.
• Avoid rubbing, pulling or repeatedly touching the lashes.
• Avoid oil-based products around the lash line.
• Follow the recommended application, sealing and aftercare instructions.
